Outsourced Controls is a UL 508A certified fabricator of Building Management System (BMS) control panels — including DDC field panels, BACnet network panels, HVAC zone controls, chiller plant panels, and EPMS enclosures. We build panels compatible with all major BMS platforms and ship nationwide with complete as-built documentation and a documented QMS buy-off on every unit.
A BMS control panel is a wired enclosure containing the hardware needed to automate building services locally. Each panel typically manages a specific zone or system — such as an air handling unit, chiller plant, or lighting group — and houses a programmable controller (DDC or PLC) that receives inputs from sensors and sends control signals to actuators.
The panel is one part of the larger building management system, but it is where equipment-level control physically happens. Without properly built field panels, the BMS cannot act. That is why panel quality — enclosure construction, wiring quality, documentation, and testing — directly determines how reliable and serviceable your BMS installation will be.
At Outsourced Controls, every BMS panel is engineered to your specifications, fabricated by UL 508A certified technicians, and tested under our documented Quality Management System before it leaves our facility. We ship nationwide and support both single-panel custom builds and high-volume OEM production programs.

Compatible BMS Platforms
Direct Digital Controller (DDC) panels are the workhorses of any BMS installation. We fabricate DDC panels around all major controllers — Tridium JACE, Siemens PXC, JCI FX/NAE, Distech ECB, and Honeywell WEBs — with properly sized power supplies, terminal blocks, and network communication modules. Every panel ships with full as-built documentation.
We build panels specifically engineered for BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP/IP networks. Proper network architecture — including MS/TP trunk wiring, end-of-line termination, and network isolation — is built into every panel at the design stage, not added as an afterthought.
Zone-level control panels for VAV boxes, fan coil units, heat pumps, and terminal units. We build compact, clearly labeled panels that simplify commissioning and reduce field wiring time. Compatible with all major BMS platforms and available in NEMA 1, NEMA 4, and NEMA 4X enclosures.
Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) panels that aggregate revenue-grade meters, current transformers, and BACnet/Modbus communication into a single organized enclosure. Used in data centers, campuses, and commercial buildings for real-time power monitoring, sub-metering, and energy reporting.
Central plant control panels for chiller plants, air handling units, and boiler systems. We build panels that sequence multiple pieces of equipment for optimal efficiency, with full BMS integration via BACnet or Modbus. See our dedicated HVAC/AHU and Chiller/Boiler pages for complete details.
As a Rockwell Automation Preferred Partner, Outsourced Controls builds BMS and industrial control panels around the full Allen-Bradley hardware ecosystem — from ControlLogix chassis to FLEX 5000 distributed I/O nodes. Every panel is engineered in Studio 5000 Logix Designer and tested against the specified I/O configuration before shipment.

Outsourced Controls offers instrumentation takeoffs and sensor bidding as part of our BMS panel packages. Rather than managing two separate vendors for panels and field instrumentation, you can consolidate both with a single UL 508A certified partner.
Our team reviews your mechanical and BMS drawings, performs a complete instrumentation takeoff, and provides a competitive bid covering all sensors, transmitters, actuators, and meters required for your project. We supply instruments from leading manufacturers — Siemens, Johnson Controls, Belimo, Honeywell, Setra, and Dwyer — and coordinate delivery to align with your panel fabrication schedule.
This service is particularly valuable for mechanical contractors, BMS integrators, and OEM equipment manufacturers who want to simplify procurement and reduce the number of purchase orders on a project.
